Dr. Hani Enaya
Hani Enaya is an investor with a background in deep tech and a partner at STV, the Middle East and North Africa region’s largest venture capital fund. He sources and structures deals with businesses of interest to STV and supports their management after deal close, sitting on the board of many STV portfolio companies. Previously, Dr. Enaya led investments at TAQNIA and Riyad TAQNIA Fund, a venture capital fund focused on investing in technology startups in the fields of energy, advanced materials, and information and communications technology. He has served as the director of the Center of Excellence for Green Nanotechnologies (CEGN) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During his time at CEGN, Dr. Enaya co-founded Carbonics, a UCLA and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology spinout that uses Earth-abundant carbon nanomaterials to vastly improve the performance of next-generation electronics. He obtained a bachelor of science degree in physics and a PhD in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University, where he graduated as valedictorian. Dr. Enaya earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
