Farah Foustok is the chief executive officer of Lazard Gulf Ltd. Previously, she was chief executive officer and chief investment officer of ING Investment Management Middle East. Ms. Foustok has served as the head of asset management at NBD Investment Bank and a senior fund manager at EFG-Hermes. She has also worked at Deutsche Bank in equity strategy, at Morgan Stanley in equity sales, and in commercial real estate advisory in Europe. Ms. Foustok has private equity exposure through a private venture in Argentina and an internet startup in the United Kingdom. She has been on an advisory panel for the Dubai Financial Services Authority, was board chair for the UAE Financial Services Association, and was a founding member of the first non-profit female mentoring program in the Dubai International Financial Centre, Reach. Ms. Foustok completed her accreditation with Mudara Institute of Directors to become the fourth female certified board director in the United Arab Emirates. She co-founded and chairs the Steering Committee for the Gulf Cooperation Council chapter of the 30% Club, which seeks to develop and promote female leadership in the region. Ms. Foustok has a BSc with honors in mathematics from King’s College London and an MBA from Imperial College London.
